After hopes of being reinstated for the upcoming season, reports have confirmed that Josh Gordon failed yet another drug test. Obviously it was marijuana, and obviously he has no self-control... or intelligence for that matter.
How stupid do you have to be?
I mean seriously, you're getting paid millions to play the game that you love and throw it down the drain. This is a guy who was a top 10 WR when he did play in 2014, and has top 5 potential easily. His highlight reel speaks for itself, raw top-level talent that is being brutally squandered.
It also can't go without saying just how Browns this is as well. Their franchise has gone through 15+ QBs in the past ten years and everytime they think they have a good thing going it turns bad, I can't help but feel bad for them. RGIII just signed and having Josh Gordon back would instantly make him a better player and get him on track to revive his own career.
At the end of the day, Josh Gordon put this on himself by making conscious decision to infringe on rule policy. Whether it's "just pot" or not, it's against league rules and he's a repeat offender.
What a shame.
