As for the games last night, definitely much better than Thursday night's games.
(4) Iowa State vs. (1) UVA kicked off the night.
Virginia struck early and often, putting the Cyclones to a 17-3 deficit mid-way through the 1st half. The Cavaliers didn't look back and commanded the pace of the game for the duration and never trailed. With a big night from Gill who posted 23pts and 8reb, contribution from their stud Brogdon (12pts), and suffocating defense, they earned themselves a trip to the Elite 8 where they will face Syracuse.
Tough night all around for the Iowa State side.

(7) Wisconsin vs. (6) Notre Dame
What a classic game this was last night, if you missed it... I highly suggest watching this full highlight video of the night. Wisconsin looked to be in control up by 1 and Notre Dame needed to foul. Instead, Nigel Hayes caught the inbound past and lost a handle on the ball.

Jackson went right to the rack for the easy lay-in and the lead. Wisconsin was then forced to foul and by then had no chance of mounting a comeback.
And then of course there was my state's governor Chris Christie pouring a smaller bag of M&Ms into a bigger bag of M&Ms because nothing goes unnoticed in 2016
(11) Gonzaga vs. (10) Syracuse
This was the second classic game of the night, just like Wisconsin, Gonzaga looked in control for most of the 1st half and into the 2nd half. A meltdown in the final 2 minutes after holding a 59-54 lead sent them packing.

(5) Indiana vs. (1) UNC
Complete and utter domination from the Tar Heels last night who posted a 101 spot. Marcus Paige finally woke up and boy did he drain.
UNC looks poised for a title run and they should have a classic showdown this Sunday with a HOT Notre Dame team.
