After this picture surfaced earlier this month, it lead many to believe that Sandoval was out of shape. While it was highly debated as to how it would impact his game, I guess we now have a quantifiable answer.
It was announced Thursday that Travis Shaw would get the job over their $95 million dollar man. In 2015, Shaw hit .270 in 65 appearances for the Red Sox, and Sandoval's lackluster play thus far in spring training has put him and his $17 million dollar ass on the bench. He is 10 for 41 this spring training (.244) and has just 2 homers and 6 RBIs. Piss. Poor.
Can't hate seeing the Red Sox get a taste of a bad signing.
